Boil Water Notice Rescinded
September 5th, 2024
**This affected everyone west of FM 487 & CR 332 west to 487 Estates, Stonebridge Crossing and Eastern Wells subdivisions.**
On September 3rd, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Jarrell-Schwertner Water Supply Corporation – PWSID# 2460011, a public water system, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of September 5th, 2024.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Joe Simmons, the general Manager at (512)746-2114

Cross connection/backflow survey letter
March 28, 2024
The corporation has become aware of a third-party company, distributing flyers advertising for a backflow survey. Jarrell-Schwertner WSC DOES THEIR OWN SURVEY AND WE ARE NOT REQUIRING A NEW SURVEY. THESE LETTERS CAN BE DISREGARDED.
We are working with an outside company called Vepo to track service inspections, as well as backflow/RPZ/double check valve testing. If you receive a letter from Vepo, you can follow the link Here to find a backflow tester.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email office@jswatersupply.com or call the office at (512)746-2114
